He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Robert Labay Sr. and Emma Gufham Labay; his sons, Infant Mark Anthony Labay and Bennie Robert Labay III; and his siblings, Patricia Rebel and Kenneth Labay.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Ruzicka Labay; his sons, David Labay (Bonnie) of Shiner and Mike Labay (Debbie) of Edna; his grandchildren, Hillary Fields and Justin Labay; and his sister JoAnn Labay of Lockhart. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church in El Campo.
