He is survived by: his wife Leanne Cruz; the mother of his children Rosa Linda Banda Alvidrez; his children, Velma Schutte (Shane) of Cozad, NE, Doreen Dempsey (Jessie) of Dickinson, Adam Cruz (Adrianna) of Abilene and Jacob Cruz (Allison) of Pearland; his stepchildren, Ariana Jessica Breaud of Lafayette, LA and Daniel John Burke of Denver, CO; his siblings, Sylvia Nino, Margie Pena, Patricia Cruz, Gilbert Cruz and Armando Cruz; his grandchildren, Caleb Cruz of Stephenville, Brittany Cruz of Fort Worth, Liliana Cruz of Pearland, Wyatt Schutte of McCool Junction, NE, Samantha Schutte of Cozad, NE, Alexander Dempsey of Dickinson and Cecilia Dempsey of Dickinson; and his great grandchildren, Karyme Carolina Cruz of Stephenville and Charlotte Anastatia Cruz of Stephenville.
