He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dorsey and Pauline Dorsey (Steen); his sons, Alfonce Dorsey Jr. and Craig Dorsey; and his siblings, Evelyn Prince, Dorothy Serino and Cornelius Dorsey.
He is survived by: his wife Angeline Dorsey of Yoakum; and his children, Dorothy Wade, Deborah Dorsey (Pat Dorsey), Iesha Smith of Victoria, Kenya Smith (Anterria Allen) of Marlin, Chaney Jones of Yoakum and Jacoby Dorsey of Yoakum. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
