He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Nichols and Sallie Rebecca Walker (Hampton); and his siblings, Josephine Lavelle Landtroop and Jimmy Lee Nichols. He is survived by: his wife Gail Nichols (Hass) of Tyler; his stepmother Mildred Nichols of Mineola; and his sisters, Mary Dale Keller (Calvin) of Troup, Charlotte Elaine Chrietzberg (Cary) of Mineola, Linda Stone (Brad) of Mineola, Deannie Waldon of Alba and Callie Morgan of Chandler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews along with great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many amazing friends.
