She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pickens and Nina Beatrice Owen Pickens; her husband Herman "Mack" Ansley, Sr.; her son John Edgar Ansley; and her siblings, Brunelle Walton, Maudine Coburn and Grady Holmes.
She is survived by: her children, Janet Burns and Herman Ansley, Jr.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.
