It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Carlton Austin Jr. of Yantis, Texas, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert C. Austin Sr. and Birdie L. Kirven; his wife Paula Austin of Yantis; his close friend CoCo; his daughters, Kim Petty (Craig) of Midlothian and Lesa Trussell (Tim) of Highland Village; his grandchildren, Dylan Petty (Miranda) of Midlothian and Maddie Trussell of Stephenville; his great grandchild Pyper Petty of Midlothian; his son Robert Carlton Austin III; and his granddaughter Chelsey Petty.
