With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rachel Ida Rivers of Yantis, Texas, born in Hinsdale, New York, who passed away on June 4, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Husted Pinney and Luella Mae Hamilton Pinney; her husband Wally Rivers; her son Clifford Allen Deitrich; and her siblings, Viola Bryant, Thelma Minchew, Barbara Jones and Glenn Thurber.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sandy Stephenson (Bob) of Yantis and Kathy Williamson (Ken) of Yantis; her sister Frances Hurst of Breman, GA; and her grandchildren, Tony Ringueberg (Melanie), Angela Howard (Joe), K. C. Williamson, Jr. (Renee), Rick Stephenson (Renae), April Garrett (Jonathon), Rusty Stephenson (Cheryl) and Randy Stephenson (Laura). She is also survived by twenty-seven great-grandchildren; thirty-three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.
