With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mike McKenzie of Yantis, Texas, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on January 8, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Paul McKenzie; his wife Nancy Schall McKenzie; and his brothers, Neely Davis and Nathan Davis. He is survived by: his children, Heather Oakes (Ashley) of Charlotte, NC, Heidi Parker (Matthew) of Charleston, SC and Paul "PJ" McKenzie of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Brooke, Olivia, Adelais, Piper, Colton, Zora and Elliott "Byrdie"; and his siblings, Ronald McKenzie (Pam) of Chester, IL, Sheila "Sissy" Mora of Harrisburg, IL and Anita Sweitzer (Karl) of Cobden, IL. He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, and nephews.
