It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAn Coker of Yantis, Texas, born in Paducah, Texas, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Crockett and Grace Ruth Emory (Maddox); her husband Noble Coker; and her brother Floyd Jones. She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Manns (DeWayne) and David Coker Sr.; her grandchildren, Rena Ann Philpott, Callie Ruth Rogers, Major David Coker Jr. and Olivia Evelyn Thorton; her great grandchildren, David Coker III, Ashley, Addison, Layla Thornton, Peyt Blevins, Baylee Riddle, Morgan Golden, Langston Ray, Emma Hood, Oliver Thornton and Delaine McKinney; and her nephews, Tim Coker (Lynn) and Fred Jones (Karen). She is also survived by eight great-great grandchildren.
