He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernst Christian Vogt and Josephine Pannen Vogt; his son Jeffrey Lee Vogt; and his brothers, Charles Vogt, Paul Vogt and Mickey Vogt.

He is survived by: his child Pawpaw; his wife Diane Lee Hudepohl Vogt; his children, Jeanne (Gary) of Grand Prairie and John (Kim) of Denton; his grandchildren, Jennifer Garcia, Jessica Jeffery, Jaclyn Garcia, Jill Howard, Jensen Parra, Julianne Parra, Danielle White, Taylor Vogt and Collin Burns; his great grandchildren, Jordana, Jeffrey Garcia, Molly, Ty, Quinn Jeffery, Christian, Cruz Garcia, Sophie, Jake Howard, Eisley, Ellie Rhoads and Hayes White; and his sister Grace Vogt Johnson of Pittsfield.
