He was predeceased by: his parents, John G. Faseler and Annie Hartman Faseler; his wife Viola; and his siblings, Elmer Roy, John Franklin and Ruth Wilson (Lawrence).
He is survived by: his sons, Kent Faseler of Leon and Kerry G. Faseler of Sperry, OK; the mother of his child Ana Lucia Olmos of Mexico; his sister Dorothy Graff of Hondo; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Faseler of Yancey and Dorothy Faseler of Moore.
The family suggests memorials may be made to Yancey United Methodist Church Scholarship Fund.
