She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnulfo Leal and Juanita Leal (Medrano); her siblings, Guadalupe Leal, Arnulfo Leal, Jr., Ascension Soliz and Julia Garza; and her spouse Gilverto C. Gauna.
She is survived by: her children, Soyla Guajardo, Rebecca Adams (Henry) and Gilbert Gauna, Jr.; and her siblings, Raul Leal, Ruben Leal, Lydia Ontiveros and Herminia Cabrera. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren.
