With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Jean Gould Harris of Yancey, Texas, born in San Antonio, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 12, 2024 at the age of 87. She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl W. Gould and Bertie Mae Stephens Gould; her former husband Gerald Lee Harris; her children, Connie Corley, Thomas Earl Jacobs III, Betty Lynn Carter of Donna Murphy, J. D and Linda Skloss; her grandson Thomas Jacobs IV; and her siblings, Lloyd, Wayne, Albert Gould and Audrey Tanner.
She is survived by: her husband Larry Harris; and her children, Larry Miller (Cruz), Richard Harris, Bobby Harris, Chrissy Henderson, Sandy Reyes, Tommy Harris and Jimmy Harris. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
