With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Etta Sims of Wylie, Texas, born in Fort Worth, Texas, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Edna Elizabeth Smith and Basil Thompson Halbert; her siblings, George, Bill and Tommie; her husband Henry Burl Sims; and her children, Donella (Don Ware), Basil (Cheryl Sims) and Lydia (Alan Goodroe).
