She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgard Howeth and Eva Mae Bacon. She is survived by: her husband AB Simmons of Wylie; her children, Jan Simmons of Wylie and Roger Simmons (Kathy) of Mesquite; her brothers, Harvey Howeth (Linda) of Comanche and Reverend Joey Howeth (Peggy) of Purcell; her grandchildren, Ashley Tanner (Russell), Amy Simmons (Jerry) and Aaron Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Chloe Tanner and Emory Jackson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and many life long friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Christian Church (701 E Stone Rd, Wylie, TX 75098). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Wylie Cemetery (508 Masters Ave, Wylie, TX 75098).
