With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Stanley Dugan of Wylie, Texas, born in Wheaton, Illinois, who passed away on August 7, 2023 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Stanley Dugan and Amy Brooks; his wife Janice Heath; his brothers-in-law, Jimmy Ted Heath and Elwood Benson; and his great grandchild Hudson Dugan.
He is survived by: his sister Lola Mae Johnson; his niece Patti Johnson; his siblings-in-law, Joyce McDowell (Gerald) and John Heath (Carol); and his children, Scott Dugan (Karen), Heath Dugan (Kathleen) and Amy Slaton (Andy). He is also survived by grandchildren, their spouses, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who wish to express sympathy consider making donations in memory of Hudson Dugan to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105 or to their charity of choice.
