We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2023, at the age of 88, Edwin L. Bateman of Wylie, Texas, born in Gary, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Sr. Bateman and Ruth Bateman; his children, Keith Bateman (Bev) of Anchorage, AK, Randall Bateman of Norman, OK and Dawn Bateman of Wylie, TX.; his grandchildren, Heather Gould (Chaz) of Jones, MI, Paul Bateman of Gastonia, NC, Miranda Dyer (Corey) of Brownsfield, TX, Jeff Hawkins (Carolyn) of Riverside, MO and Stephanie Henderson (Sean) of Riverside, MO; and his siblings, Kenneth Jr. Bateman (Diane) of Garland, TX and Eileen Bateman.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Edwin are asked to consider the South Bend First Church of the Nazarene Music Ministry.
