It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Davis (Wylie, Texas), born in Barbourville, Kentucky, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bain and Alice Powell; her siblings, Dean Bain, Nobel Bain, Jack Bain and Drucilla Runquist; and her great grandchild Cason Cockrell.
She is survived by: her husband Joseph E. Davis Jr.; her children, Garret Cockrell of Frisco, TX, Ronald Cockrell of Hutchinson, KS, Teresa Schneider (Michael) of Mesquite, TX, Debbie Ford of Murphy, TX, Joseph E. Davis III (Diane) of Flint, TX, Pam Comerford (Sean) of Allen, TX and Patricia Thorne (Brian) of Amarillo, TX.; and her sisters, Joy Cashman (Barry) and Jody Reichle (Vic). She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
