With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Daniel Austin Rushing of Wylie, Texas, born in Fort Myers, Florida, who passed away on October 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Mathew Rushing and Creasie Lewis; his wife Sue Rushing; and his brothers, Gene Rushing and Maurice Rushing.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Slayton (James Slayton), Debra Martin, Judith Figuly (Bob Figuly) and Craig Rushing. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that in his memory a kindness for someone in need be done.
