She was predeceased by: her parents, Compton Scott Connelly and Mary Irma Lewis Connelly. She is survived by: her husband Bennie W. Blakey of Sachse, TX; her children, Brian Scott Blakey (April) and Beth Ann Blakey Johnson (Bobby); her sister Mary Frances Cryer (late Jerry Cryer) of Mineola, TX; her grandchildren, Tyler Johnson, Genna, Bailey Deskin, Joseph, Thomas Blakey and Ethan Blakey; and her great grandchildren, Laila Deskin, Levi Deskin and Ruston Johnson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Carolyn's memory to Coventry Reserve in St. Paul, TX.
