She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry DuPont (Dewey) and Edith Griffin (Hale); her brother Vernon Ray Griffin; her sister-in-law Margaret Griffin; her sister Paula Jean Jackson; her brother-in-law Jackie Jackson; and her husband Lee Wayne Collie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Aleatris Stanley of Denton and Jennifer Capers (Bill) of Wortham, Texas; her grandsons, Tyler Pritchard (Trina) of Argyle, Jack Tanner Stanley of Flower Mound and Logan Capers (Darci) of Euless, Texas; her great grandchildren, Colin Pritchard, Palmer Pritchard and Pace Pritchard; her godchildren, Jannetta Francone of Georgetown and Nick Clark of New York; her nephew Randy Griffin of Las Vegas, Nevada; her nieces, Donna Gains of Austin and Wynona Jackson of Tool; her pets, Sally and Tucker; and her godson Joe Francone.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church - Wortham (208 W Sabine Ave, Wortham, TX 76693). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.
