He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Eddings and Henrietta Collins Eddings; his wife Margaret McLelland Eddings; and his grandchildren, Mark O'Neil Spurgeon and Marla "Sissy" Williams.
He is survived by: his children, Gerald Ray Eddings, Joe Eddings (Kim) and Linda Spurgeon; his grandchildren, Zachary Eddings, Molly Eddings, Jacob Eddings, JoBeth Eddings and Marianne Walker (Keith); his great grandchild Savannah Williams; and his brother Jack Eddings (JoAnn). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
