It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara V. Ruiz of Woodway, Texas, who passed away on July 13, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Alberto P. Ruiz; her son Samuel Ruiz; her parents, Magdaleno Vasquez and Delfina Vasquez (Cerda); and her brothers, Alvaro Vasquez and Domingo Vasquez.

She is survived by: her children, Viola Ruiz, Irma Marie Sanchez (Ralph), Patricia Ruiz and Viviana Smith (Randall); her grandchildren, Albert Ruiz (Anitra), Joshua Rendon, Jeannie Ruiz, Gabriel Davila, Asdrubal Peguero (Anayma), Melissa Blacketer (Jacob Blacketer), Angelica Bermudez, Marcus Bermudez and Matthew Smith; and her great great grandchild Violet. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.

Due to the Coronavirus/COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
