He was predeceased by: his wife Ruby; his parents, Alva Roy and Edith Evans Bridges; and his siblings, Ralph, Roy Jr., Dorothy Williams and Doris Sullivan.
He is survived by: his brothers, Eldon Bridges and T. J. Bridges; his daughters, Karen Hixson (Ricky) and Kim Kessler (Jonny); and his grandchildren, Justin Hixson (Robin), Amy Bennett (John), Jessica Elkins (Kyle) and Ryan Kessler (Katie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorials in Ray's memory may be directed to the American Heart Association or the Park Lake Baptist Church, 3701 N.27th.
