He was predeceased by: his parents, Mamie Wessel and William John Wessel. He is survived by: his wife Janice Burnham; his daughters, Christina Dawn Martin (Kenneth) and Marla Dee Acker (Stephen) of Tilden, Texas; his siblings, Earlene LaRue of Balch Springs, Billy Joe Wessel (Mary) of Metropolis, Illinois and Bobby Wessel of Metropolis, Illinois; and his grandchildren, Kendra Martin, Jacob Martin, Amber Acker and Brett Acker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
