He is survived by: his wife Judy McDowell; his children, Andrea Dossey (Nathan), Aaron Payne (Toni) and Andrew Payne (Olivia); his grandchildren, Gavin, Grant, Madison, Lindsay, Emery, Seth, Cayden, Owen, Silas and Elena; his brother Malcom Payne Jr. (Jeanetta); and his niece Leslie Ricketts (Alan). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews.
