She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Spence and Rachel Spence (Wright); her husband William H. Burtchell; and her son Kenneth McBride. She is survived by: her sons, William A. Burtchell (Rebecca) and Calvin Burtchell; and her grandchildren, Katherine Burtchell, Natasha Burtchell and Darren Hudson. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
