She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Franklin Morton, Jr. and Rosa Evelyn Morton (Chandler). She is survived by: her husband Wayne; her daughters, Ashley Cross Mudge (Edmund Webster Mudge IV) of Dallas and Adrienne Cross Woodward (Jacob Lamar Woodward) of Waco; her sister Glenda Morton Mitchell of Winston-Salem; her nieces, Sandra Barts Carter and Amy Mitchell Getman; her nephew Jason Franklin Mitchell; and her granddaughter Lola Chandler Mudge.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Judy's memory to the American Cancer Society.
