She was predeceased by: her parents, Pete Smith and Oleta Smith; her husband Glen; her sister Linda Smith; and her granddaughter-in-law Molly Melton.
She is survived by: her sister Gwen Arnett (Charles) of Wichita Falls, TX; her children, David Melton (Donna) of Ft. Worth, TX, Jeff Melton of Hewitt, TX and Vicki Koon (Karey) of Woodway, TX; her grandson Sol Melton; her great grandchild Stella of Telluride, CO; and also, Haden, Ashley, Mandy and Tracy. She is also survived by many extended family, nieces, nephews and friends.
Customary floral tributes shall be appreciated and comforting, but in lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Salvation Army or to Caritas, 300 S. 15th Street, Waco, TX 76701.
