It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Dodson of Woodway, Texas, born in Rosebud, Texas, who passed away on March 2, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Dodson and Lillie Dodson; his siblings, George Dodson (Linda), Betty Dickens (Jack), Margie Good (George Robert), Carie Jean Buck (Marvin Jones) and Merle Neumann (Leonard); his brothers-in-law, Robert Owen, Earl Pophin, David Baulos, Guy Lowry and Jasper Thomason; and his nephews, Mark Rutledge, Henry Buck, Frank Nevarez, Sr. and Harold.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Owen; his children, Christy Martinez (Rob) of Waco and David (Emily) of Cheshire, Oregon; his grandchildren, Haven Schier, Elijah Dodson, Ella Martinez and Ava Martinez; his sisters, Kathryn Baulos and Patsy Pophin; his siblings-in-law, Harold Rutledge and Patra Owen; and also Carolyn. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Out of respect for the family, social distancing and face coverings will be required at all services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Columbus Avenue Baptist Church.
