We bid farewell to Grace Bishop (Woodway, Texas), born in Memphis, Tennessee, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on August 31, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, William E. Philyaw and Grace Barnes Philyaw; her son Leo Benkendorfer; and her sister Phyllis Philyaw Hixson. She is survived by: her husband Ben Bishop; her daughter Alita Gail; her siblings, Ruth Crocker and Marlin Philyaw; her grandchildren, Holly Hall and Hank Hults; her great grandchild Stella Jean Hults; and her stepdaughter Amber Bishop.

Gigi and Ben ran 3 miles several times a week, until the onset of Covid.
