He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harless Eugene Benthul and Louise Fouse Benthul; his wife Martha Murphy; his children, Bart (Caroline) of Bryan, Rick (Patti) of Lorena and Cyndie (Thomas) of Bryan; and his sister Beverly Benthul Berry of Dallas. He was also cherished by nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
