The passing of Dell Shields of Woodway, Texas, born in Houston, Texas leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on November 4, 2024 at the age of 85. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, E. C. Cleve and Major Van Cleve; her brother Caswell Van Cleve; and her son Garvis Preston, Jr. (Pres). She is survived by: her husband Garvis Preston Shields; her children, Deryl Shields, Deborah Damuth (Steve) and Joel Shields (Marsha); and her grandchildren, Deryl, Steven, Sarah, McKenzie, Jake Preston, Caleb and Anabeth. She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home (8220 Woodway Dr, Woodway, TX 76712). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM.
