It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bert Lewis Mercer of Woodway, Texas, who passed away on April 23, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Ashley Mercer and Eva Harper Mercer; his wife Norma Jean "Jeanie" Wilson Mercer; his sisters, Bobbie Martin and Billie Vinson; and his daughter Mary Annette Mercer Daw.
He is survived by: his children, John Mark Mercer of Waco, David Ashley Mercer (Sylvia) of Orlando, FL and Amy Beth Mercer Enoch of Denton, TX; his sons-in-law, Roger Daw (Marcia) and David Enoch; his grandchildren, Cheverly Long (Larry), Daniel Mercer, Maryam, Jeannie Daw Martinez (Saul), Emily Daw Boyle (Aaron), Jenith Mercer, Holly Mercer, Mary Enoch and Leah Enoch; and his great grandchild Autumn Louther. He is also survived by many extended family members and dear friends.
