He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Eyers and Anne Eyers (Nykoluk); his in-laws, Travis and Johnnie Ivy (Porter); his brothers-in-law, Dennis Fischer and Larry Sellers; and his aunts and uncles, Edwin (Margaret Eyers), Mickey (Kathleen Eyers), Harvey (Colleen Eyers), Michael (Margaret Nykoluk) and Joseph (Mary Nykoluk).
He is survived by: his wife Shelia Eyers (Ivy); his children, Amy Smith (Christopher), Travis Eyers and Heather Bennett (Ryan); his grandchildren, Mason Smith (Dani), Bryson Smith, Jackson Smith, Madalyn Bennett, Ethan Bennett, Teegan Smith and Sawyer Bennett; his brother Doug Eyers; and his in-laws, Belinda Fischer, Devorah Sellers, Janie Niemeyer and Barrett Ivy (Debbie).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (7201 Viking Dr, Waco, TX 76710). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Barry Eyers.
