He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Nolen Herrington Sr. and Bertha Herrington (Hanks); his wife Georgia Ruth Herrington (Hoffman); his former wife Elsie Ann Herrington (Schneider); his sons, William Nolen Herrington III of Milton Freewater, David Brian Herrington of Canyon Lake, Mark Kevin Herrington and Douglas Brent Herrington of San Marcos, Texas.; his aunt Libby Quant of Houston; and his stepson Jerry Hoffman of Jasper. He was also cherished by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the American Lung Association.
