We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 73, Walter O. Nelson Jr. of Woodville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter O. Nelson, Sr. and Gladys Nelson (Gorton); and his siblings, Richard Nelson and Bettie Butcher. He is survived by: his brother John Nelson; his daughters, Lori Nelson and Amy Duval (Nathan); and his grandchildren, Monet, Remy, Kenzie, Silvia and Camryn.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Dachshunds Rescue of Houston, a cause close to Walter's heart.
