It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Verbie Oates of Woodville, Texas, who passed away on May 26, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Joseph and Louise Victoria Conner McKee; her husband Elza Oates; and her siblings, Roger Dale McKee, Royce Carroll McKee, Patsy McKee Findley, Ola Stanford and Betty Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Selena Collins of Woodville and Tianna Moore of Woodville; her siblings, John McKee (Doris) of Woodville, James McKee (Joyce) of Warren, Kenneth McKee of Toledo Bend, Tommy McKee of Warren, Jesse Ray McKee (Marlene) of Woodville, Linda Henry (James) of Colmesneil and Jerrie Rawls (Jim) of Woodville; her siblings-in-law, Robert Oates (Gloria) of Huntsville, Gwen McKee of Spurger and Hazel Davis of Bryan; and her great grandchildren, Austyn Moore, Layla Michaud, Greyson Turner and Paislee Turner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
