He was predeceased by: his parents, Mahlon Oliphant and Lela Oliphant; his wife Anna Marie Oliphant; and his siblings, Paul Oliphant and Rachel Oliphant.
He is survived by: his siblings, Sidney Oliphant (Sherral) of Colmesneil, John Oliphant of Fort Worth, Dortha Smith of Colmesneil and Annette Roberts of Porter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
