She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Jerue and Ruth Jerue; and her siblings, Henry Gardner, Willie Jerue Jr., Rufus Farmer, Charles Jerue and Tommy Jerue.
She is survived by: her daughters, Shauna Jerue-Gilder (Larry) and Brianna Mitchell; her granddaughters, Amaya and Ashtyn Gilder; her niece Ronique Lee (Perry); her siblings, Gloria McCartney, Edna Fuller and Roy E. Jerue (Andrea); and her close friends, Debra Bryant, Bertha Mae Fant, Sharon Jackson, Katherine Chatman and Shelia Foster. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
