He is survived by: his wife Lynnett Whitaker; his children, Carolyn Jernigan (Gabe), Dorothy Love (Thomas), Elexicus Colman (Carl), Britney Gardner (Omar), Larry Rattiff (Aimee), Zicorian Coleman, Marcus Coleman and Michael Whitaker; his nephew Wade Whitaker; his siblings, Brenda Jefferson, Rosemary Whitaker Barlow, Doris Whitfield (Charlie), Tammy Wright (Raland), Rev. James Whitaker (Brenda) and Allen Whitaker; his aunts, Easter, Verline and Bobbie; his uncle Chester of Baytown; his children, Vickie Freeman, Rick Mitchell, Corneulis Mitchell and Karron Rattiff; and his friend Wayne Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
