He is survived by: his wife Lynn Hays of Woodville; his daughters, Alisa McDonald (Brian) of College Station and Jamie Weaver (Travis) of Woodville; his sister Benja McCluskey (Gordon) of Woodville; and his grandchildren, Blake Hays, Reed Weaver, Karson Weaver, Brenna McDonald and Shelby McDonald.
