He was predeceased by: his parents, Floy Sturrock Downing and George Downing; and his siblings, Glenda Jordan and Robert Downing. He is survived by: his brother James Downing (Ann) of Simpsonville; and his brother-in-law John Jordan of Spurger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethany Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
