He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ezell Jackson and Frankie Johnson Jackson; his brother J. C. Bray; and his daughters, Kathryn Nolan and Bobbie Craig.
He is survived by: his wife Winnie Nell Kratz Jackson; his children, Tammy Richardson (Mike), Jay D. Jackson Jr. (Becky), John Jackson (Michelle), Frankie Lou Barrett, James Zills, Patty Nichols, Judy Johnson, Barbara Laxton, Connie Pittman, Veronica Enix (Thomas), Brian Gilbert and Amy Largent; and his brother Dale Bray. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and numerous other nieces, nephews.
