He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Rhoten and Minnie Rhoten; and his siblings, Donald Ray Rhoten, Kyle Marvin Rhoten, Roy Edward Rhoten, Lois Myrtle Payne and Joyce Sue Seiford.
He is survived by: his wife Jeannell Rhoten of Woodville; his daughters, Terry Rhoten (Curtis Marsh) of Arlington and Misty Kaman (Mehmet) of Beaumont; his stepson Curtis Justice of Tyler; and his siblings, Fred Rhoten of Steven City, Virginia, Kathleen Wright of Winchester and Doris Perrin of Royal Oaks, Michigan. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
