She was predeceased by: her parents, Manor Fortenberry and Mattie Mae Fortenberry; her siblings, David Fortenberry, Bob Fortenberry, J. T. Fortenberry, Johnny Fortenberry, Mattie Freeman, Jenny Howell, Pauline Broom and Louise Tucker; her stepgrandson Jared McDonald; and her son-in-law Gordy McDonald.
She is survived by: her brother Larry Trest; her husband Charlie; her children, Marla Miller (Greg) of Nederland and Mike Fritsche (Judy) of Meza, Arizona; her sister Joyce Smith of Woodville; her grandchildren, Brandi Batson (Tray, Dustin McDonald), Cindy Casburn (Bo, Tim Fritsche) and Tracy Grimsley (Ginger, Melissa Searson); her great grandchildren, Shayna Corcoran (Jordan, Kaylee Batson), Grady Batson, Lorelyhe McDonald, Caleb Casburn, Colleen Casburn, Quinton Casburn, Chad Grimsley, Cassidy Grimsley, Maddy Searson and Emily Searson; and her great great grandchild Miller Corcoran.
