He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Ione, E. D. Gregory, Esther Gilder and Gladys Cruse. He is survived by: his wife Nikita Clements-Gilder; his parent Joyce Rhodes (Roy "Popie") of Houston; his daughter DeJanae Gilder (Erik); and his siblings, Shawn Gilder (Charlotte), Tanisha Gregory, Contessa Galloway (Fletcher) and Roy Rhodes Jr. (Tammy). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends.
