She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Platt and Novelle Hollomon Platt; and her husband Malcolm Collier. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Nagypal (Bela), Woodville and Tammy Bohannon of Allen; her sister LaVern Hatton of Warren; her grandchildren, Brandi Nagypal Smith (Dexter), Bela Nagypal VI (Esther) and Reed Bohannon (Joy); and her great grandchildren, Bela Nagypal VII, Ivey Nagypal, Herring "Teddy" Nagypal and Shirley Bohannon.
