He was predeceased by: his siblings, Louise Miller, Fred L. "Sonny" Swearingen, Christopher W. "Punk" Swearingen and Whitfield G. "Butch" Swearingen; and his stepson Joe Kevin Williams.
He is survived by: his spouse Patricia Swearingen of Woodville; his stepchildren, Alecia Williams Parrish (Robert) of Spring and Jimmy Williams of Merryville, LA; his children, Robynn Powell (Ted) of Cedar Park, Keith Swearingen of Lumberton and Kent Swearingen (Shannon) of Austin; and his grandchildren, Jessica Swearingen, Blaine Swearingen, Jaynee Swearingen, Cara Richard, Bonita Williams and Haleigh Williams.
