It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Guidry Payne of Woodville, Texas, born in Port Neches, Texas, who passed away on December 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Sylvania Patin Guidry; her husband Robert Payne; and her brothers, E. B. Guidry, Don Guidry, Carl Guidry and Ray Guidry.

She is survived by: her children, Sylvia Claus (Len) of Houston, Ronald Payne (Wendy) of Spring and Richard Payne of Woodville; and her sisters-in-law, Nettie Guidry and Lynda Guidry. She is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
